What we collect

• What you tell us. When you call, email or use a form on this site, we receive the details you give us, such as your name, email address, phone number, project address and a description of your project.
• What your browser shares. Like most websites, we receive technical information such as your device and browser type, the pages you view and the page that sent you here. We use this to understand how the site is used.
• Visits from AI assistants. If you arrive from an AI assistant such as ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini or Claude, we record the name of that source and the page you landed on, so we know which of our pages helps people. Automated crawlers that read our pages are also counted. None of this identifies you personally.

We do not ask for payment card numbers, Social Security numbers or other sensitive information through this website. Please do not send them to us through a form or email.

How we use it

• To answer your questions, schedule a consultation and prepare estimates.
• To operate, secure and improve this website.
• To keep records we need for our business, licensing and legal obligations.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run this website and our business, such as hosting, email and analytics providers, and when the law requires it. These providers may use it only to do work for us.

Our contact forms are protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that a visitor is a person and not a bot. Turnstile is covered by the Cloudflare Turnstile Privacy Addendum (opens in a new tab). When you send a form, we deliver your message to our team by email through a transactional email provider.

Cookies and local storage

We use analytics tools, such as Google Analytics, that place cookies or similar identifiers in your browser to measure visits. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or use a tool such as the Google Analytics opt-out add-on. The site still works without them.

The site also saves small settings on your own device, such as your display settings and the tips you check off on our contractor checklist. These stay on your device and are not sent to us.

Your choices and California rights

You can ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, to correct it or to delete it. If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act gives you these rights, and the right not to be treated differently for using them. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. To make a request, contact us using the details below. We may need to confirm who you are first.

How long we keep it

We keep project inquiries and customer records for as long as we need them to serve you and meet our legal and business obligations, then delete or anonymize them.

Children

This website is for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

This site links to other websites and services, including YouTube, Houzz, Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest and Yelp. They have their own privacy practices, and we are not responsible for them.
